Specifications

STANDARDS IS:694, IS: 8130, IS: 5831, IEC 60227, BS EN 50525, IEC: 332-1, ASTM- 2843 & ASTM- 2863
CONDUCTOR Electrolytic Grade, bright annealed bare copper with more than 100% conductivity conforming to IS:8130
INSULATION The conductors are insulated with FR- LSH compound, which has an Oxygen Index of 31.5%-32% which increases its efficiency in firefighting. In the case of fire, conventional PVC insulated wires give out thick, black smoke and toxic Hydrochloric Acid gas, which reduces the visibility and makes rescue operations difficult. In contrast, Extra Shield FR-LSH wires give out not only very little smoke or toxic gases. but also restricts the spread of fire.
COLORS Plaza coils are available in Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, White and Green. Special colors available on request.
MARKING As per IS: 694 specifications with special marking FR-LSH
TESTING All plaza wires are tested as per IS:694, IS: 8130, IS: 5831, IEC 60227, BS EN 50525, IEC: 332-1, ASTM- 2843 & ASTM- 2863
PACKING Multistrand wires of up to 6 mm² are available in standard carton packing of 90 meters. Longer lengths available on request.
