Specifications

STANDARDS PLAZA telephone & switchboard cables are made as per TEC specification no. GR/WIR-06/03, MAR. 2002, BSNL (DOT), ITD specifications S/WS 113C, S/WS 113B, S/WS 114B specifications, or as per the customer's specific requirements.
PRODUCT RANGE 1 pair up to 100 pairs
CONDUCTOR The conductor is made from pure Electrolyte grade bright annealed bare solid copper confirming to IS: 1830: 1984 of 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 & 0.7 diameter
INSULATION Specially formulate high grade PVC compound as per Type- 2 of IS: 13176:1981. Hard grade and capable of withstanding higher conductor temperature of up to 70° C. Color of insulation is as per Table- 2 of G/WIR - 06/02 and color shades conforming to IS:9938.
PAIRING The two cores are twisted evenly to form a pair with maximum lay length of 80 mm. The lay is adjusted to minimize cross talk.
LAYING OF PAIRS The cable (laid up pair) is tightly wrapped with polyester tape applied with an overlap of 30% (not available in single pair).
RIP CORD Synthetic nylon placed longitudinally under the sheath for easy removal.
MARKING The cables are printed with generic PLAZA Telephone Cables marking.
PVC SHEATH The laid-up pairs are jacketed with grey colored high oxygen index FR PVC compound suitable for 70° C continuous operation
